From some source in China, Jenny Lang Ping possibly won't extend the contract with USA Volleyball. She will make a final decision when she's back to America a month later. Now she is in Beijing with her family.
It is said that she wants to get more family time with her daughter, Lydia. If the national team training center can move to Los Angeles, she will definitely consent to work for the US. Bad news for USA volleyball fans.

I heard Jenny will not extend a contract as a coach before Beijing OG (Actually, I'm not sure...)
Jenny is Chinese and Beijing OG was held in China, I think it was good point for Team USA.
Do you have any idea who is a good candidate for Team USA coach Arie Selinger Jr. Avital or Toshi Yoshida will be selected for a 2nd term I'm from Japan, so I hope Toshi will back
I think Yoshida won't be back according to an interview during the 2007 World Cup. He seemed still not recover from the Athens nightmare.
Is Sellinger the Netherlands women's volleyball NT head coach?
Maybe he is a good candidate, but I am not sure if he ended the contract with the Netherlands.
Anyway, the door is still open. USAV CEO Doug Beal said he will make a compromise to try his best to keep Jenny. So let's keep our fingers crossed.
