Unfortunately, Japanese media didn’t focus foreign players, not just Logan or Tay.
This year's highlight player are Megumi Kurihara from Pioneer and Ai Yamamoto(Ootomo) from Hisamitsu. Megumi Kurihara is one of ace players in Team Japan. And Ai Yamamoto returned VB after a two-year absence. She got married and now has one daughter. Kurihara and Yamamoto are Athens Olympian, Kurihara is Beijing Olympian. But, I watched Kurihara on Sport TV and the reporter said her teammate Tay is Siler-Medalist in Beijing OG, so Tay could be inspired player for her.

What a pity!!
She definitely is one of the best players V-League have ever had.
I look forward to her official report by the Japanese media soon.

I saw the match of Hisamitsu vs. Okayama.

[Impression]
In the 1st set, Okayama had collected serving to libero(Sano).
Therefore, Logan was possible to freely attack.
However, since 2nd set, Okayama had collected serving to Logan.
Therefore, Logan was impossible to freely attack, so her hit percentage was down.

Both of Logan and Tay were not good performance today.
In particular Logan.
She is attack and attack, but almost attacks were received by player of Pioneer.
However, this match was Logan vs. Tay.
It excited for USA fan.

[ 2008.11.8 ]
Hisamistu has bad chemistry with Okayama. Hisamitsu lost all 3 games by Okayama in regular last season. 4 consecutive defeats since 2007-08 season.
Actually, the members are different from last season but how can I say... [ Play-style problem :?: ]
Hisamitsu DID spike and spike, but Okayama reserving was really good, and turn to " Tip " and Hisamitsu can not reweaving and digs very well. Especially 2set, 3set, Okayama serving targets Logan, so she can not play free spike. I think sometimes V-league seems [ foreign player vs. foreign player ] So Logan has to spike many times ( sometimes felling TOO MUCH  ).

[ 2008.11.9 ]
It was Amazing game for me!! I could not cheer only one team, just FUN FUN FUN!!! LT's spikes after Tay's digs, and Tay's spikes after LT's digs. I think toss isn't fit for her yet :? She changed her serving style jumping serve to floater serve during the match. The match was really exciting match

( Q )
Am I making any sense the floater serve :?: Not jump! Dani, Tay, Heather from Team USA DID the serve.
How to say the play in English :?: Pls help me English speaker

I heard LT and Tay had BIG BIG HUG after the match.
( I had an airplane departure time problem, so I couldn't watch the game till last )

This weekend Logan doesn't have matches! Take a rest! and Go Tay!

 was this change of serving style an emergency? I hope she just wanted to try it out and not to risk much.. because I love her jump serve and really want her to continue serving like that..

don't have anything against floating serve, but Logan's jump-serving is just amasing to watch

oh, God... I want to see Hisamitsu matches :(

i guess logan use float server because she may felt her jump serve not very stable. If u remember olympics USA vs CHN. Logan use jump server first. But she made 4 errors. afterward, she change server style to float serve.
