Evguenia Artamonova( now is Evguenia Estes ) from Russia prized MVP in 1998-99 season ( 10 years ago ),
So MVP isn't for only Japanese player, I think. Normally, MVP is chosen by Champions team.
Fighting-spirit prize is chosen by 2nd place and is gotten many foreign players every year.

In the wake of Japan's recent economic downturn, many companies have difficulty surviving of own VB club, especially manufacturing company has it. I think all clubs do not know how much longer they can survive a team. Takefuji announced that they will eliminate their team after Kurowashiki competition, which holds in May. One of manufacturing companies [ Pioneer ] is thinking about the issue right now, keep on serving or not. Hisamitsu is pharmaceutical company, so it might be no problem about that.
